image If you do a lot of business online, as I do, or simply have registered at a variety of websites for more casual use, you have a lot of different usernames and passwords to remember. It used to be that you could use the same username and password at every site you went to, but these days identity thieves have made life harder for everyone and you have to have your guard up.

So you probably have several different login identities that you use for all these different websites. If you’re anything like me, it’s a pain to remember all this information. RoboForm is a new program that claims to have a solution.

Manages all your Passwords and Login Information with just a Click

RoboForm is a program that manages all your passwords and login information with just a click. After hearing about this, I had to get it and do a review. Out of the box, RoboForm is pretty enticing. The website has a nifty little video that shows you RoboFrom in action, and it was actually accurate.

Works in conjunction with both Firefox and Internet Explorer

A more in-depth demo comes with the software. RoboForm was easy to install and set up once I had it in-hand. Once we got rolling, I found it to be a very intuitive program. RoboForm works in conjunction with both Firefox and Internet Explorer. I’m a Firefox aficionado, but I clicked over to Internet Explorer briefly to make sure that all was well – and it was.

RoboForm will remember your login Information for you, but can also be used to fill out Forms

Basically, RoboForm puts a button on your browser that allows you to control it. It won’t remember information that you don’t want it to. In fact, if it did I might be a little leery of it. That aside, RoboForm will remember your login information for you, but can also be used to fill out forms.

We’ve all been to those websites that for one reason or another want to know your full name, address, and phone number. It gets really old filling these things out right? Well, RoboForm can also remember this information and fill it out for you. Maybe I just have a short attention span, but I found this to be pretty cool and it helps me bypass the tedious stuff so I can move on to better things.

Ability to randomly generate Passwords to maximize Security strength

Another cool feature is the ability to randomly generate passwords to maximize security strength. I know I’ve typed in passwords I commonly use on various websites, only to be told that my password’s security strength is weak. RoboForm can generate and remember them for you!

My first reaction was, “I never remember passwords that I don’t create myself!” But then I remember that I don’t have to remember it! There’s nothing worse than websites that give you passwords that are just a strange series of numbers and letters. Those are the strongest passwords, however. Here, you get the best of both worlds.

RoboForm Summary

Overall, I found RoboForm to be a handy little program. For around $35, you get a lot of cool little features that makes life a whole lot easier when it comes to the Internet and remembering all that login information that is floating around in your head.

You can even upgrade to RoboForm2Go for an additional $5 if you want a portable version. RoboForm2Go is on a USB flash drive that you can plug in into any computer you’re working on – very handy.

Basically, I’d recommend RoboForm to anyone that is looking for a way to speed things up when they’re on the Internet. I know I’m not the only one out there that is always looking to make things faster, and RoboForm certainly help in that department. Give the free trial a try and see for yourself!
