1. Disk cleanup: Use simple windows disk clean up. You don’t need any software or tool to do this task. Simple use the tool provided by windows. If you don’t know how to do this task, follow the instructions below
a) Press the start button in your desktop. You can also do that be pressing the windows key in your keyboard which is usually near the alt and ctrl button in your keyboard.
b) Once you press the start button, go in “programs” or “All programs” and then go “Accessories” from where you should go to “system tools” and select the “Disk cleanup”.
By now you might be seeing a window where it shows your old files are being compressed. Wait for that to finish. Once it is finished, windows will give an option with many files and folders which has a description along with it if you cannot recognize. Just select the file which you think is not needed in your system and then press “OK”. When the prompt comes for deleting files, also press “yes”. You are done with the first step.
2. Fix all the disk errors: When you use hard drive very frequently for installing programs or even accessing programs, it develops bad sectors in your drive. You can fix that by repairing disk errors. Here is how to do it:
a) Go to “My Computer”. You can do that by directly accessing it from the dektop if you have the icon or go in the start menu to access it. Then right in one of “local disk”. I don’t what it is named in your computer but usually the it is “C”, “D” or “E”. After right clicking in one of the hard disk, go to properties. Select the tab “tool” in the top and select “check now” in the error checking option.
b) Check both the box, “Automatically fix file system errors” and “scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors” and then press “start”. Do that for all the drives in you system and you will feel the difference your system’s speed.Registry Easy
3. Defragmenting: I don’t recommend you do this now since it takes a lot of time and also makes your computer slow. Start it when you are not using computer for a long time like just before going to the bed or going out. Here is how to do it:
It’s just the some procedure which you did for fixing disk errors except instead of selecting “check now” in tools tab in your local disk properties, select “defragment now”. Always analyze before defragmenting because you might not need to defragment your computer. Just press analyze and defragment if it says to do so.Registry Easy reviews

All the steps given above this one are done with windows tools. As you know these windows tools don’t get updated or have the latest features and definitions and cannot detect many of the latest errors and vulnerabilities in your system.
