The internet has truly revolutionized the way that people do business. These days, you don’t need a storefront to make money, just a website. It has grown in size to the point that we now have businesses that serve internet businesses, i.e. software makers that make Autoresponders so that internet marketers can handle their massive email loads. One such Autoresponder is GetResponse.

There are dozens of autoresponders out there, so we’ve taken it upon ourselves to find out which ones are the real deal and which ones are garbage. Before you buy anything, of course, you should do some research (as we did) and see what other people are saying. Hopefully this review is one that you will find informative.

GetResponse was good at getting past pesky spam filters and easy to use

We practice what we preach, of course, so we did some research before we delved into GetResponse. What we found was good. We looked around at some forums to see what others were saying and most of the feedback was good: GetResponse was good at getting past pesky spam filters, easy to use, and backed up by great customer support. So we had to see for ourselves.

The first thing we noticed when we went to check out GetResponse was the very interactive website that is all about teaching you how to use the software. Sure, there’s the customary sales pitch, but a huge section of the site is just about teaching users how to use the software. Setting up was a breeze, so we wasted no time in digging into this web-based program to see how it ticked.

The second thing we noticed was some of the changes from previous editions of GetResponse; some cosmetic, some going a bit deeper. Some of the terminology has been switched around, which may be confusing to some but ultimately harmless. I’m not sure why this was done, but I’m sure there’s a good reason. The big changes, however, come in the functionality and the extras.

GetResponse with Video Marketing feature

One huge thing that has been added is the Video Marketing feature. This feature allows you to record a video using your webcam and instantly imbed it into your emails. In the past, you would have had to use separate programs to accomplish this, but here it is simplified and very easy to use.

RSS Feed and Twitter integration

Another great thing is the RSS Feed and Twitter integration. “Web 2.0” and social networking is all the rage these days, and this feature allows you to integrate your GetResponse messages with these sites, as long as you have an account. This is a great way to reach more people and it’s only going to get bigger in the future.

GetResponse is entirely web-based

As stated earlier, GetResponse is entirely web-based, which saves you form downloading more stuff onto your PC. With all the spyware-laden software floating around these days, this is a good sign about the integrity of this software and the company that created it.

GetResponse is very intuitive and easy to navigate

The dashboard of GetResponse is very intuitive and easy to navigate. There’s nothing worse than a perfectly good program that you can’t figure out how to use, and thankfully GetResponse avoids this problem altogether. It’s customizable to your needs, as well, which is a definite plus – if not a must!

GetResponse Summary

Overall, I’d say that GetResponse is a great autoresponder to use if you are an internet marketer in need of a something to handle your bulk emails. It gets around server spam filters to get to the people that want to hear from you, is easy to use, and is very affordable at just $18 a month. You really can’t go wrong with GetResponse, so give it a go!
