I’ve tried Malewarebyte’s Anti-Malware that is said by many people to remove it. It removes it, but keeps on coming back afterwards. I have tried it in safe-mode with no absolute success. I’m looking for an experienced PC user who has come across this malicious virus and has solved it to help me. I’ve also, alternatively used Uniblue RegistryBooster; however, it does not help that much. Please recommend me something in specific to help this problem, not just something in general. This is a serious infection that is troubling me for some about a month now. I’ve researched this problem coming across solutions – they help, but do not rid of it because it keeps coming back! Please do not just recommend just any anti-virus/anti-whatever software without experience of the virus, as it might not absolutely solve the problem for me. So, please take some thought; it is a very crafty, yet troubling virus. Thank you.
I have had this before. And the Malware program has solved it for me at that time. But now it is different and more advance and Malware does some to help, but not the whole 9 yards. I’m afraid that if I only get general help from this, it may not absolutely help me at all. This virus is something one should not underestimate. It seems to be fairly new, so I’m hoping for some experience here and not just an average “hey, use this software!” sort of deal.
You may not know what you are talking about unless you have actually delt with this newly updated virus. All the popular anti-whatever software may have not applied a solution for this yet, so keep that in mind.
The main annoyances are the Internet Explorer pop-ups. I use Firefox as my main browser and have noticed they try to mask themselves as if they are Firefox popups, but they are really spawned from IE. But the major problem is that it seems my computer is experiencing slowdown from this and it’s annoying me very much. The tabs in the taskbar when I open a new instance of something load slowly and it is pretty retarded.
Please don’t be that one that answers my question with a general answer that doesn’t do much. I hope I’m not acting like a picky person (I know I am – but I think righteously so at this point), but I seriously need some experienced help on this. If you’re not at least somewhat experienced in this problem, I’m sorry, but you’re probably just not gonna help much at all. I’ll kudos anyone’s effort – just as long as they take, at least, some thought. If you don’t, I’m afraid it’s really not gonna mean much – at least to me – sorry.
I run Windows XP Professional SP3
Thank you very much for all your thoughtful replies. I really do appreciate it – I do. I’ll try all your suggestions out.
This is a trip! Thanks, Viper. Obviously Malware doesn’t work for me. But the other program you recommended to me works a treat! Hell yeah. I’m glad you exist!
I also had a problem with my windows firewall automatically starting up when windows started. It would be disabled on default for some stupid reason. And now it’s starting up like it should! This is aweomse. I’m finally back to where I think I was. Thanks for helping me kill this Antivirus 2009 sob for me! Mucho gracias!
I also like playing GunZ, and now that game works for me now, too, ’cause it used to be bugged up for this also! Hell yeah! Now I can shoot and kill people!!!! My most favorite game ever! Yes, I’m kinda drunk right now… but oh well!!!! This deserves a celebration!!!! I toast to everyone!!!!
I wish I could set Viper as the best answer, but I guess I’m not that high level to do so on yahoo answers yet! I’m still only lvl 1. dammm it all!!!!
if you have GunZ: The Duel, people have recommended a fix for AVG on Youtube that would fix this for the GameGuard 114 error. but this was not the solution for me at all; i never had avg. but i ironically installed avg in hopes of fixing this just for GunZ, actually – the fix for avg, of course, did nothing at all. so, for you that don’t have avg, and want to DESPERATELY play gunz once again as I did, you may want to try Viper’s fix, which involves running the Super Anti Spyware software. this has fixed it for me, but i don’t know if it will do the same for you…. but, hell, give it a whirl and see what it does. i carelessly ran it without safemode on and rebooted my computer there after, no problem!

Looking for something to clean up the processes thats running on my system. Windows Xp 32 bit. Now on my main screen I have 5 shortcuts to nowhere (white w/ little blue top). No loading, will not open, says can’t send to recycle bin without closing programs using them. Just wanted to stop unneeded programs that have been loaded up over last couple years and may have 4 or 5 more on there. registrybooster, taskmanager 17 (2 times), advanced task manager, RegCureSetup. All have times and they have 0 bytes on them. How do I get rid of?
Create a video blog…instantly.
The scanning process is really fast, and it will only fix 15 errors with the free version. Has anyone tried this program? What are your thoughts? It will scan your registry, show you the errors, and give you the option of repairing them or not. Thanks

I just checked add/remove programs and programs on the start up list, and can’t find an “uninstall” feature for Registry Booster. Anyone know how I would uninstall it if needed? The only thing I find in the start up list is how to open its console, and it’s not in add/remove programs at all.
Ok, I found the option to remove Registry Booster if needed. It was under add/remove programs listed as Uniblue.
