It simply can’t be stressed enough how important it is to protect your computer. The first threat that most are familiar with is the fact that all it takes it one worm or Trojan to render your operating system complete worthless. The even worse scenario, however, is the threat of identity theft. Hackers, no longer satisfied with just causing chaos and headaches, have taken to stealing people’s information off their computers and using it to make exorbitant purchases and the like, completely ruining innocents’ lives. Norton Internet Security Suite 2010 offers a plethora of protective features, but let’s see how it holds up under close scrutiny.

Everybody knows about the importance of antivirus protection. If you are online (and everybody is) or somehow otherwise connected to other computers and devices (once again, who isn’t?) you are at risk. Believe it or not, there are people out there that design malicious programs just for the sake of it. Quite often, however, such programs are even more insidious; designed to steal information from the user.
