Looking for something to clean up the processes thats running on my system. Windows Xp 32 bit. Now on my main screen I have 5 shortcuts to nowhere (white w/ little blue top). No loading, will not open, says can’t send to recycle bin without closing programs using them. Just wanted to stop unneeded programs that have been loaded up over last couple years and may have 4 or 5 more on there. registrybooster, taskmanager 17 (2 times), advanced task manager, RegCureSetup. All have times and they have 0 bytes on them. How do I get rid of?

I just checked add/remove programs and programs on the start up list, and can’t find an “uninstall” feature for Registry Booster. Anyone know how I would uninstall it if needed? The only thing I find in the start up list is how to open its console, and it’s not in add/remove programs at all.
Ok, I found the option to remove Registry Booster if needed. It was under add/remove programs listed as Uniblue.

i ran registry booster 2009 and i clean up every registry error and when i restart my computer, only internet and recycle bin show up and the start toolbar and internet doesn’t work. how do i get back my computer back to normal? plzzz

Well i currently tried to download a file of the internet and got a huge virus off of it. I have Norton antivirus 2008 and it only blocked the trojans attempting to attack. It didn’t block or delete any of the spyware/malware that came along with it. I delete MicroAV off pc along with some of the registry keys of it i could find. But….i still am getting redirected to virus sites and keeps trying to attack. i have no clue at all how to fix this. I have run norton full scan,AVG full scans, and plenty other scans off trusted sites. Ill post my hijack this log
