hi i recently downloaded regcure which was free, as i was having probs with computer, it fixed about 7 problems, but says i have about another700 plus problems, and says i should register with them to fix problems, will they expect me to pay for this, and also is a bit of a scam or worth it, my computer seems ok right now even with these 700 errors or problems. I was trying to look up a product I saw on tv. I came across a website that promted me to download an active x control. I did and all of a sudden a bunch of pop ups opened. A pornographic icon is now on my desktop and a Vista Anti Virus that keeps prompting me to download it. How do I get rid of this. I downloaded Registry Booster 2, Spybot Search and Destroy, SpyRemover, Ccleaner. However none of these have stopped the pop ups.
