I was viewing some photos a short while ago and failed to open some photos with the extension MVI. I took them with my Canon. The Zoom Browser for the camera is on my desktop. I do not use it because it freezes up too much and does not respond when I need it. Anyhow, WindowsXP asked me if I wanted to go to the internet and find a program to open it. I chose Uniblue Registry Booster. It scanned my computer, found 778 errors and said that the trial verson can remove 15. I would have to buy the product to remove the remainder. I would like to know the function/purpose of the registry and if I should be removing anything from it. I would also like to know if there is a program that will open any photo with an extension whether BR,IMG or MVI and give me a chance to try the product before mentioning that I need to purchase it. I have a lot of photos that do not open because the technician who cleaned the computer removed software and I cannot find the CD to reinstall them.Thanks a lot.

i downloaded regcure,scanned, and holy ^&(*, it found 1576 Errors! I seriously thought my computer would actually run decently, but it didn’t seem to help at all. It says it fixed all the errors, but it is still slow. Did i miss something?

More and more when I try to connect to the internet I keep getting pop-up’s that there are fatal error’s in my registry from all types of places such as fixmyregistry.com, www.windowsregistrycleaner.com. I don’t have a credit card so what is the best safe freeware or shareware? Should I pay attention to these pop_ups? Everytime they come up they keep me from connecting to the internet and force me to use ctr+alt+del to restart my computer because I cannot access my start menu (the little hour glass shows when I go to it) HELP!
