My PC(computer) has very slow start up for the last few weeks, However after start up it works with satisfactory speed.Shut down is normal. I have cleared the errors and problems with uniblue Registry booster, but it did not help. How can i make the start up normal or speedy?

If I click on anything in all programs in start menu, it says windows cant open filename.lnk. I use internet to search for file extension info and it says its registry fault. I downloaded Registry Booster and bought full version and fixed everything but the problems still there. I even used full version of Registry Mechanic and it still persists. My computer cant even open shortcut files which are .lnk.

I recently downloaded Corel’s Painter IX.5,after my trial expired, I deleted it rather than uninstalling it. I got then Corel Painter X to install,but I got an error saying I have another version of Painter installed. My father and I removed Painter IX’s registry items,I later then installed Corel Painter X again, I yet get the same error.
I got then Registry Booster and Your Uninstaller. I found to files to remove or uninstall Painter X on these two programs,any help?
